It would appear they are looking to bilk as much money out of their membership base as they can with little to no care about it's members. While looking at the most popular swingers sites it is clear most, if not all of them, have raised their prices and trimmed down on features. This, in many cases, has resulted in a scramble for the doors in this economic down turn. What can be done about this seemingly bad situation you ask?

 

Well, you have more to say about this situation than you may think.

 

Website communities are complex websites with complex problems. As a creator of one of these types of websites, I can tell you from experience it is not a simple matter to run one of these. Most website owners have a knee jerk reaction to a membership drop- off with raising prices to combat the problem. This has a short term effect of bringing the bottom line back in line with expectations. However, the long term effect is to further add to the problem and the membership will inevitably continue to decrease.

 

Another reaction, in many cases, is to attempt to create- some new features that they can charge extra for. This tactic has it's own set of issues. For one thing, it requires some forward thinking and some creative talents.

 

Many of these websites have already lost the real talent that made them what they were in the first place. This is the case with The Swapper Network Ann and I created the website and probably know better than anyone what it takes to make it work. So what will happen to these websites as time ticks on? Clearly, they will continue to wither away.

 

So the members hold all the cards. Meaning these websites can not and will not survive unless they can somehow keep the members happy and content. Our new website SwingerZoneCentral.com will be about one thing and one thing only. The Members.

 

We will keep our prices reasonable so most, if not all, can afford it. If you can not afford our membership, we will ask that you contact us so we can work something out. For us, it is our passion to run these websites and it is not about the money. We will work everyday to provide the highest quality service that we can and all we will ask in return is that you enjoy our service. Not a bad deal. We feel if we provide the best service we can and work tirelessly in that effort alone.  The rewards will far outweigh the money.

 

So what can you expect moving forward?  Well, in our opinion, you can expect most people to begin to gravitate in the direction of the talented people that put together the original websites to begin with. After all, these websites got to where they were because of these people to begin with. There is a good reason for this. They understood the people they were supporting. They understood the problems.  They understood the needs. They understood what it takes to keep these websites rolling along.
